WHAT IS BMW DRIVE RECORDER?
BMW Drive Recorder allows you to record manually or automatically your vehicle surroundings for up to 60 seconds. You can document critical driving situations, such as an accident, or collect memories of beautiful routes at the press of a button. And, there are no visible wires like aftermarket dashcams, thanks to integrated on-board cameras in the front, side, and rear of the vehicle.

* BMW Drive Recorder feature availability and functionality may vary depending on vehicle model, model year, equipment, software version, and month of production. Certain recording, storage, export, camera view, and automatic activation functions may not be available on all vehicles.
The advantages to you include:
- Manually record up to 60 seconds of video footage of your surroundings by pressing and holding the Panorama View button, perfect for capturing memorable routes, scenery, or driving moments.
- In the event of an accident, automatic recording can be triggered to capture up to 60 seconds of footage, including up to 30 seconds before the trigger and up to 30 seconds after.
- Up to 10 videos can be stored in the vehicle. You can export selected video clip(s) to an external USB or wirelessly to your smartphone.
