British Columbia

Carpool lane access.

In qualifying low-emission vehicles, you can apply for a decal that gives you access to the HOV lane on BC highways.

BMW EV Charging

$350 EV charger rebate.

Owners or residents of single-family homes, row homes, or duplexes that purchase and install an eligible Level 2 EV charger could receive a rebate of up to 50% of costs, to a maximum of $350. BC-based businesses, non-profit organizations, and local governments can receive installation credits of up to $3,000.

Manitoba

 

Until March 31, 2026 vehicles which qualify for the federal iZEV program are eligible for an additional rebate up to $4,000 through the provincial Electric Vehicle Rebate Program.

Newfoundland & Labrador

 

Until March 15, 2026, vehicles which qualify for the federal iZEV program are eligible for an additional rebate up to $2,500 through the provincial Electric Vehicle Rebate Program.

As of 2025, there are no Provincial Rebates available in Ontario.

Carpool lane access.

Battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are eligible for a green licence plate which gives them access to HOV lanes and HOT lanes with any number of occupants.

Prince Edward Island

 

Vehicles which qualify for the federal iZEV program are eligible for an additional rebate of up to $4,000 through the provincial electric vehicle incentive program.

Québec

 

Low-carbon vehicles with an MSRP of less than $65,000 could be eligible for a rebate up to $4,000 through the government of Québec’s Roulez vert program.

BMW EV Charging

$600 EV charger rebate.

The Québec government offers $600 in financial assistance for the purchase and installation of an eligible home charging station.

Yukon

 

Up to $5,000 rebate. 

 

Low-carbon vehicles whose base trim has an MSRP of less than $60,000 are eligible for rebates up to $5,000.

BMW EV Charging

$750 EV charger rebate.

Property owners with residences in the Yukon can claim 50% of the purchase and installation costs up to a maximum of $750.
