The best connection for more comfort and safety.
The next oil change, vehicle inspection, new brake pads. These are appointments you no longer need to think about. Relax with the assurance that your BMW knows when and what services it needs and sends the vehicle-related service data automatically to BMW. Your preferred BMW Retailer can then access the data quickly and get in touch with you right away. With BMW Teleservices from BMW ConnectedDrive, you’re free to do what you really want to.
OVERVIEW OF BMW TELESERVICES.
BMW Teleservices (standard on all BMW model years 2014 and newer) are innovative BMW ConnectedDrive services that offer maximum comfort and let you focus on the important things in life. Through BMW Teleservices, your preferred BMW Retailer receives detailed information from BMW regarding the condition of the vehicle; information which was previously available only through a service visit. This allows for personalized vehicle service as well as a quick reaction in the event of an issue. With the Automatic BMW Teleservice Call, your BMW knows when a service is due. Through the Condition Based Service (CBS) sensors, the car identifies service requirements and automatically transmits all service-related data to BMW. Your preferred BMW Service Centre retrieves the data, is informed about the service need and vehicle status, and calls you to arrange a service appointment if necessary. With the Manual BMW Teleservice Call, you can conveniently get your BMW Service Centre to contact you, get customized advice or spontaneously schedule a service appointment. The vehicle sends all service-relevant data to BMW at the press of a button. Your BMW Retailer receives the information, calls you back, answers your questions and arranges an appointment if necessary. In the unlikely event of a breakdown or technical malfunction, you can initiate a call to BMW Roadside Assistance within your BMW while the BMW Teleservice Update ensures that your mobile devices and media players are always well connected to your vehicle. BMW Teleservice Battery Guard reliably keeps an eye on your battery day and night and informs you if the battery’s state of charge drops below a certain level.

The usage of BMW Teleservices features is free of charge for all BMW model years 2014 and newer. The services are automatically activated when the vehicle is delivered to the customer.

How the Automatic BMW Teleservice works.
Condition Based Service (CBS) sensors constantly monitor fluid levels (e.g. engine oil) or wear-and-tear components (e.g. brake pads). If a service appointment is needed, your BMW automatically transmits all service-related data to BMW. Your preferred BMW Retailer will call you to arrange an appointment, if necessary. Due to the accuracy of the data relayed, the service appointment can be prepared perfectly with all required components and parts needed – so the vehicle only stays at the Service Centre for a minimum time period. Forget about inflexible service intervals. You only drive to the workshop if you have to.
How the Manual BMW Teleservice works.
You can activate the Manual BMW Teleservice call via the iDrive system in your vehicle at any time. All relevant data will be sent to BMW from your vehicle. Your preferred BMW Retailer will receive a message asking them to contact you. When the data has been evaluated, your Retailer will call you back to arrange an appointment. This gathered information allows your preferred Retailer to be perfectly prepared, to attend to your personal needs and – if necessary – to order the desired parts or accessories in advance.
How the BMW Teleservice Battery works.
An eye on your battery: in case your battery’s state of charge drops below a certain level, due to parking lights being left on, for example, BMW Teleservice Battery Guard is triggered automatically and informs your preferred BMW Retailer. BMW Teleservice Battery Guard stays activated until the next time you start your BMW. If necessary, your preferred BMW Retailer will get in touch to arrange a service appointment.

Yes. There are two methods of doing so:
1- If you know at the time of delivery that your service retailer will be different than your selling retailer, you can note your preferred servicing retailer on the BMW Assist subscriber agreement. Our system will then note the change and ensure that your Teleservice calls are routed accordingly.
2- Should you wish to route your Teleservice calls to another BMW Retailer at a later time (i.e. as a result of a relocation), you can request a change by completing a simple form at your new Retailer.

BMW Teleservices must be activated in the vehicle and attributed to your preferred BMW Retailer. Please contact your trusted BMW Retailer for more information.
