Even in the dark: unmistakable.
The Illuminated Kidney Grille becomes an eye-catcher, especially in the dark. White light highlights its contours when the vehicle is stationary and while driving.
An illuminating experience on entry.
The Dynamic Light Carpet illuminates the door areas when entering and exiting the vehicle for safety reasons, and also welcomes and inspires with light animations.
Almost as if you were sitting in the open air.
The Panoramic Glass Sunroof makes the interior look even larger. More light gets in and you can enjoy the open-top atmosphere in every seat.

ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS & CONNECTIVITY.
Driving Assistant Professional actively supports you in road traffic and is there for you in an emergency.
It is intelligently at your fingertips. Keeping you in lane, accelerating, braking and paying attention to the distance from vehicles ahead. It does this automatically in traffic queues. It even helps when merging onto the motorway. All you have to do is use the turn indicator.
Parking Assistant Professional can park your BMW on request.
You only need to save the manoeuvre once beforehand. Your vehicle then steers itself into your saved parking space as often as you wish. You can conveniently monitor the process remotely using your smartphone.
Highway Assistant.
Highway Assistant [4] is a driving assistance mode that provides new levels of convenience and stress-free travel over long distances. It allows the driver to take their hands off the steering wheel when driving on divided roadways, under certain conditions. When activated: Highway Assistant works in combination with Active Cruise Control and Steering & Lane Control at speeds of up to 130 kilometers per hour. Highway Assistant is available on roadways with a structural divider between opposing lanes of traffic. Driver must always maintain focus on the road ahead and be prepared to assume responsibility for steering.
[4] The Highway Assistant is provided for up to 8 years commencing from in-service date. The feature will disable after that time. Highway Assistant can be used only on divided roadways, under certain conditions. Weather, traffic, road conditions, availability of high definition map data and other factors may affect performance. Highway Assistant helps drivers with the driving tasks but is not a substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. Drivers must always pay attention to vehicle alerts, warnings, road condition, road objects, other drivers, pedestrians and take corrective action if required. Failure to pay attention and use proper care may result in injury, death or damage to property. Use of Highway Assistant may not be permissible in certain locations.
