EXTERIOR.
The BMW 8 Series Coupé introduces a whole new age of BMW design that is immediately recognizable, particularly due to its narrow headlights. The sporty exterior is characterized by an unusual interaction of sharply drawn lines that extend across the entire side of the vehicle and emphasize the concave surfaces and muscular shoulder areas. In combination with the flat roof line, the result is an especially sharp coupé form that sets totally new standards.
LASER-LIGHTS.
In laser high-beam mode, BMW Laserlight illuminates the road ahead. Better visibility in the dark significantly increases safety. Blue accents and the lettering "BMW Laserlight" in the headlight also underline the technological standards and the sportiness of the vehicle.
INTERIOR.
The sports car of the luxury segment – the modern, puristic interior of the new BMW 8 Series Coupé proves that contrasts can complement each other perfectly. High-quality materials, innovative technologies and numerous colour and equipment variations ensure a luxurious atmosphere and a high-quality appearance despite the distinctive sports car character. Both the elegant operating elements and the clear design lines head only in one direction: straight forward. Something to everyone’s taste. The BMW Individual leather fittings using the finest Merino leather refine the interior and imbue it with a unique flair. You have a choice of several exclusive colour variations from black and cognac to ivory white. And with the attractive contrasts of the new bicolour upholstery, there is something for every racer – and every gentleman.
GLASS APPLICATION ‘CRAFTED CLARITY‘.
More irresistible with every detail: The elegant “CraftedClarity” glass application gives the sporty interior an exquisite appearance thanks to the straight-line cut and the blue colour tone. It embellishes the insert of the gear selector, as well as the central control element, the audio control button and the start/stop button. The result is an interplay of sporty flair and exclusive design that combines athleticism and grace like never before.
M CARBON PARTS.
Dynamism in every detail: the BMW 8 Series Coupé combines top performance and high quality under a carbon roof that highlights the car’s special racing character. The M carbon exterior package gives the M sports package additional dynamic highlights, such as visually-sharpened lines of the diffuser and the tailpipe trims framed with a carbon decorative element. The overall look – with a real carbon rear spoiler, air intake covers and mirror caps – moves you even when it’s standing still.

Extreme power meets inner peace: With the BMW TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine with 4.4 litres displacement and 523 hp, the BMW 8 Series Coupé creates a unique fusion of maximum dynamics and efficiency. With a torque of 553 lb.ft, the engine brings maximum driving pleasure to every journey. Two variable turbochargers and an injection pressure of up to 2,500 bar further optimise the power yield while simultaneously increasing efficiency. And thanks to the active sound design, it sounds as powerful as it performs.

The BMW 8 Series Coupé is consistently designed for driving dynamics and sportiness. The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel system with rear-wheel-oriented turning, combined with M Sport differential and the standard mixed tyres, ensures optimum traction and driving stability. Added to this are reduced ground clearance, the high rigidity of the entire body and the adaptive M chassis – ideal conditions for a real sports car. The optional electromechanical roll stabilisation also reduces later inclination when turning, thus enabling surprisingly high turning speeds.
